I mostly agree with what this dube/thing is saying. Halloween is not what it used to be.
For me it feels like Halloween as well as Christmas and Easter have become too commecialized. You are buying a product instead of celebrating an observance. There is no spirit in buying mounds and mounds of junk(costumes, candy, gifts, etc...)you can do that all year long if you want to! What would make it any more special to do it on a day like Halloween or Christmas or Easter?
The answer is spirit. You have to have it. Otherwise it's just like any other Saturday afternoon at WallMart...just more crap.
