Happy Anniversary Newfoundland

Newfoundland joined Canada as its tenth province at midnight on Mar. 31, 1949.
I am very proud to be both a Newfoundlander, and a Canadian.

    Happy anniversary to your province. It is interesting to know that I am three weeks older than Newfoundland.

    I am a Newfoundlander born and bred, now an ocean away from my home and my bed. The thought of a cabin a lake and a beer sends shivers up my spine I wish I could get away from here. I am a Newfoundlander and can proudly say after voyages and years there's nowhere in the world like that rock in the sea that waits so patiently for you and for me.
